CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE
Metroblue Laundromat, a budding laundry service outfit in the heart of Ikeja, invites applications for the position of a Customer Service Executive who will make every day a satisfying experience for our customers.

Summary
The Customer Service Executive is a brand ambassador of LAUNDROMAT to her customers, effectively engaging them with experiential services that will guarantee retention. She will ensure that Laundromat optimizes her services to suit the customer thus providing a friendly and customer-centric environment.

Such an individual must be a good listener, have a positive attitude and be flexible. Must also be a person ready to take responsibility for results, possess outstanding people skills, knotty problem solver and ensure a win-win situation always. She must be ready to work weekends.

Job Description

• Own and solve customer queries and internal challenges with a proactive approach.
• Anticipate and identify customers’ needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Resolve conflicts and manage customer expectations.
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats with external and internal customers.

• Keep a profile of customers and appropriately document customers’ activity thoroughly.

• Manage crisis logically with good judgment to ensure win-win situations.

• Make appropriate decisions on behalf of the customer quickly and effectively.

• Effectively prioritize work to ensure efficiency.

• Research continuously on customer needs to provide cutting-edge services.

• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with Laundromat’s established policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.

• Submit comprehensive weekly reports on business/customer activities to the Chief Executive Officer.

• Other duties as assigned.


Education, Knowledge and Skill Requirement

• A minimum of a HND or its equivalent in any discipline. A professional qualification in customer relations, communication and allied areas will be an added advantage.

• Creative customer engagement tactics

• Administrative skills required including excellent communication/interpersonal skills and reporting.

• Fluency in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office tools

• Vast knowledge on conflict management and customer retention.

• Critical thinker and ability to make independent judgment

• Ability to think and act proactively and anticipate requirements of customers.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Emotional intelligence, attention to detail, accuracy and security consciousness.
